Comic-Con 09'

So as you guys know, comicon is coming, and I'm freaking excited. I'm anticipating everything from another LOST ARG (Alternate Reality Game) news on the Deadpool, Green Lantern, Thor, Captain America, and Avengers Movie, and news on the mysterious District 9, which just got another trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjihaK7HfGs

So, my favorite show (excluding Lost) from this year so far ended last weekend. The finale of Harper's Island was last week, where they introduced the show's other killer, and revealed who lived, and who died.

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

So Henry was the other killer? Woah. That was what I said as soon as Trish got stabbed by her former fiance-turned-killer. The thing that surprised me the most was how well they explained why people died, and why he was killing in the first place. The 2nd saddest part of the season (first being Cal and Chloe's death) was Sully's death, which hit me in the gut, pretty
f^#!ing hard, which led me to wish for a painful death for Henry, which came, but was more psychologocally painful than physically, being stabbed by his half sister (Abby) after confessing he did all of the murders because he loved her, yeah, creepy.

*SPOILERS OVER*

The DVD comes out Sept. 8 for all of those who want to watch the show, with more bloody disgusting R-rated violence.

In comic news, not many people are so excited about Captain America's return, calling it too soon, and the actual story being drug out too long, occuring in a 4 issue miniseries that many say could be done in 1 sized comic.

That's all for now, so please send me in some stories if you want me to cover anything or spread my personal opinion at killersfan18@gmail.com.

Thanks, and have a great day.

LOST Season Finale Rocked...

Alright, so I'm basically just going to be making some personal points about where I think Lost could be going in it's sixth and (sniff) last season. Now, the season finale was epic, as it showed us who Jacob was and how he really effected the losties... well... some of them anyways... well actually, he really just effected Locke in a major way, but whatever. So, here are my thoughts/theories.

Thoughts:
1. How do we know, for a fact, that Jacob is good? For all we know, this fake Locke could be good... I doubt it, but it's a possibility.

2. What will the losties detonating Jughead mean? I assume they will come to the present based on Jacob's dying words of "they're coming."

3. Wait... how do we know Jacob is actually dead!?

4. Will Juliet and Sayid live? Well, I would hope Sayid would live, as he is the last real bad@$$ on the island. Juliet.... meh.

Now, give me YOUR opinion on these:

-How do we know Jacob is even good? They could easily be misleading us, because they have definantly done it before.

-How do we know that guy is ACTUALLY Jacob?

-Are the losties going to be coming to the present?

-Will Locke stay dead?

Theories:

1. Well, I need to start this off to explain by saying that this could coorilate to the bible in the end. Now, I don't think this is a story of the second coming or anything that extreme, but maybe symbolism. In the bible, the night before Jesus dies he goes to the garden of Getsemonie (sp?) and prays to God to either make his death painless, or just to negate the death completely. Now, LOST. Locke gets shot while time traveling by Ethan. He then travels to a darkened area near the drug plane where none other than Richard shows up. He tells Locke, who wants to bring the off island losties back, that the only way he can bring them back is to die. Now, here are two opinions on this

- Richard is ACTUALLY Jacob, and is the God figure, while Locke is the Jesus figure, which
would make him come back to life next season, and this other 'Jacob' character is the holy
spirit, who watches over all the losties (i.e. appearing to them all off island)

- Richard is God, Locke is Jesus, and 'Jacob' is actually the antichrist, who makes the
losties believe he is good to infiltrate and trick them to kill, his 'nemisis' is the Devil, and
Christian Shepard/Smokey is the Holy Spirit, who appears to all the losties one way or
another to judge or protect them

2. Insane theory. The losties blowing up Jughead causes everything to set to the day of the crash, Jacob and his nemisis watch loop occur over and over until the losties make the right moral choices. The whole time, Jacob is betting they can (free will) while nemisis bets they don't (destiny/preditermination)

End thoughts:

Great season, epic finale. Now, I will be doing this for every episode next season, so check it out, and check out lostpedia.com to look up all LOST info you need, and check out the forums to post ideas, theories etc.

So, have a great hiatus, and til next time, this is Collin The Wizard, on LOST.

What's Up?

Alrighty, so basically, this blog is about everything ranging from comics to movies... wow... that doesn't really span that much, but it's fun to talk about. Alright, so I should be doing a comic review or two every week, a movie review every 2 to 3 weeks, and a game review every time I get a game. So, enjoy, comment, and thanks for reading.
